Katz’s has been a Texas institution for more than 30 years. We opened our first authentic, New York deli in Austin, Texas, in 1979. And it didn’t take long for our classic New York cuisine to win the hearts of cowboy country. Before we knew it, lines were out the door and around the block. People couldn’t get enough of our signature dishes: the towering Reuben, the tart and crispy fried pickles, the rich and creamy Cheesecake Shake.

We got so busy, we stayed open 24 hours. And that’s where we got our saying, “Katz’s Never Kloses.” Over time, we moved to Houston, TX, but we always stayed true to our original mission: to provide the freshest, most authentic New York deli cuisine, painstakingly prepared according to generations-old family recipes.

Munch Munch Mochi Donut was started in Houston, Texas and makes delicious mochi donuts, which are also known as "Poi Mochi." They are a fusion pastry combining traditional American doughnuts and Japanese mochi. These delectable mochi donuts first became popular in Japan, with their pleasing aesthetic shape and eight small, round dough balls connecting together in the shape of a circle. They are made of rice flour which gives the donuts a wonderful chewy and stretchy texture, that is different from yeast or cake donuts. Their Asian style delights are freshly made every morning and are hand-dipped and topped with glazes, drizzles, and other unique toppings.
