Established in 2013 in Pearland, Killen's Barbecue was the result of Chef Ronnie Killen's pursuing one of his first loves, and the Le Cordon Bleu-trained chef wanted to bring his eye and knowledge and sensibilities to the barbecue cook offs that he enjoyed growing up. That desire was realized, and took his "pet project" to national acclaim, especially with the sourcing and use of top quality meats and ingredients.
Like his fine dining establishment, Killen's Steakhouse, located across the street, Killen's Barbecue in Shenandoah is also the 2nd outpost for Chef Killen's barbecue concept, and adds to our city's barbecue offerings. |
